After breakfast, we’ll journey south, passing through the picturesque Asif Melloul valley, where you’ll be captivated by the sight of traditional Berber villages nestled amidst stunning landscapes. Along the way, learn about the Ait Hadiddou tribe and its two factions, Ait Iaza and Ait Brahim, as you take in the captivating scenery.

Your first stop is the awe-inspiring Todra Gorges, a natural marvel formed by the Todra River cutting through the red limestone cliffs of the High Atlas, descending from Jbel Sagrou at a height of 2,300 meters. The striking pink rock formations of the narrow gorge are truly a sight to behold. Enjoy a delicious lunch before meeting your local guide, who will take you on a scenic walk through the surrounding fields and to the historic Jewish quarter. Stand in awe at the depth of the Todra Gorge, which plunges to 984 feet (300 meters), and the river that carved its way through the red stone.

Next, we’ll continue our journey to Kelaat M'Gouna, also known as the Valley of Roses. Nestled between the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert, the Imgoun River runs through this area, which is renowned for being the largest producer of rose oil and water in Morocco. These products are deeply ingrained in the local culture and economy, and the region is aptly named the "Rose Valley."

After soaking in the fragrant atmosphere, we’ll follow the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs to Skoura, where we’ll visit the beautifully restored Amridil Kasbah. This architectural gem, made entirely of adobe, showcases the traditional building material that keeps the interior cool despite the heat of the region.

From here, we’ll continue to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the "Hollywood of Morocco," where you can explore the famous Film Studios and the historic Taourirt Kasbah. Learn about how this area has served as the backdrop for movies like Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Black Hawk Down.

Our day ends with a visit to the UNESCO-protected Aït Benhaddou, a stunning medieval Kasbah. You’ll meet your local guide for an hour-long walk to explore this ancient site, climbing up to the old granary for panoramic views of the Kasbah and the surrounding desert landscapes.

Next, we’ll drive across the Tizi N Tichka Pass (2,260 meters), the highest mountain pass in North Africa. As we ascend the High Atlas Mountains, be sure to take in the stunning panoramic views of the mountains and Berber villages that dot the landscape. Stop for a break near the top to stretch your legs and capture the breathtaking scenery.
